Genetic health is the foundation of a good breeding program. Here is exactly what we do, and what goes home with every kitten.
Before a litter is ever planned
Our breeding cats are DNA tested and clear.
Heart screening is repeated annually, not once. A single clear scan early in life does not stay true forever.
We are a registered cattery, and every kitten is registered with TICA.
Before go-home day
Every kitten is examined by a veterinarian at eight weeks old.
Kittens go home vaccinated, and all vaccination paperwork travels with them.
Deworming is done before your kitten leaves for its new home.
Every kitten is covered by a one-year health guarantee. The full terms are set out in the contract.
All kittens go home with their TICA registration papers.
Spaying or neutering is a requirement written into every contract.
Placement
We review all applications carefully, so that each kitten goes to the right home — one that fits them. Part of that is a phone or FaceTime call with every applicant. It is not a test. It is how we learn about your household and how you learn about us.
A reservation fee is only ever collected after the contract is signed.
